Shipping and Returns

As a small business committed to sustainability, we carefully consider the impact of each item we send out. Here’s everything you need to know about our shipping and returns policies:

How long does my order take to ship?

We ship via UPS ground transport. Shipments typically take between 5-8 business days once the order is processed and ready for shipment.

How long does my order take to process?

We typically pack and ship orders between 1-3 business days. Because we are a small team of humans, and because we make all our items in small batches by hand, occasionally we may not have “stock” of something you order and will need to make it fresh for you. If it will take longer than 1-3 days to fulfill an order, we’ll contact you to let you know!

What packaging materials do you use?

We almost always reuse boxes and packaging materials that have been sent to us as part of our inventory purchases. Occasionally we may need to use our back-up supply of boxes/materials, which are made of post-consumer waste/recycled materials and are always recyclable or compostable. You will never find plastic or styrofoam in our shipped boxes!

Do you offer international shipping? 

Nope!

What is your return policy? 

Due to the nature of our business and our commitment to reducing carbon emissions, all items shipped are final sale and not eligible for return by mail, unless they arrive defective. If your order is defective or damaged, please get in touch within 7 days of receiving it.

For local customers:

  • In-store returns/exchanges are available within 30 days of purchase.

  • To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be unused and in the same condition as when you purchased or received them.

  • Some personal care items (our body butter, balms, and salves) are non-returnable if opened. These products are preservative-free, thus once they leave our store, we can’t ensure they have not been compromised/contaminated.

How to Return an Item In-Store

  1. Bring your item and proof of purchase to our store within 30 days.

  2. We’ll inspect the item to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
