Regenerative by nature
-
reduce
We stock powdered &/or concentrated products that reduce water consumption and lighten shipping weights, lowering carbon emissions.
Our refill model allows consumers to buy the exact quantity they need, reducing waste at home.
-
Reuse
From our tissue paper and hang tags, to our paper tape, boxes, and bags, we use recycled, post-consumer waste packaging to spare virgin trees and avoid plastic & non-recyclable materials.
We grow our own botanicals using compost from our homestead, source ingredients from regenerative farmers, & produce or purchase textiles made from upcycled fabrics.
-
Refill
We keep containers out of landfill by enabling our community to fill their own bottles again and again.
Refilling contributes to a closed-loop system rather than an endless & linear waste stream.
Your consumer dollars go toward quality ingredients, not virgin packaging.
The shift to circular
Zero waste stores support a circular economy, where materials never get burned or buried, and naturally-sourced inputs are regenerated. Through reusing, refilling, and regenerating (e.g. composting), a circular economy tackles climate change and other global challenges, like water over-consumption, oil dependency, & biodiversity loss, by decoupling economic activity from the consumption of finite resources.
BYOC
Refill stores utilize BYOC - bring your own container - to keep perfectly good bottles out of landfill. In our store, you may bring and fill clean, repurposed containers with as much or as little product as you like from our bulk containers. We deduct the weight of your container at check out so you pay only for the product dispensed.
We also accept some empty, clean containers that we sanitize and add to our jar library - a collection of reusable free bottles for customers to use if needed. We believe people’s dollars should be spent on quality products, not on virgin packaging.
aquatic safe
What we put on our skin has the potential to absorb into our dermis, hypodermis, and even our bloodstream. What we put down our drains enters our septic systems, waterways, soil, and in turn, food supply. In this way, our own health and the health of our planet are innately connected.
Our bulk products are non-toxic not only to humans, but also to the aquatic life they will inevitably reach. We formulate and stock products free of chemicals that poison our lands, helping preserve New Mexico’s ecosystems, soil integrity, and local farmlands.

Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QUATS)
Triclosan
Phthalates
Parabens & formaldehyde-donating preservatives
