We vet all applicants based not only on the safety & efficacy of their product, but also on the sustainability of their ingredient sourcing methods, the circularity of their packaging, and their commitment to fair labor practices.

We also actively seek inventory from small, local businesses who are either owned & operated by marginalized individuals, or who donate a portion of revenue to them (namely, women, Indigenous peoples of the North American Southwest, Black Americans, LGBTQ+, &/or individuals with disabilities).

For the most part, we do not sell these brands’ products on our online shop and encourage you to buy directly from them if ordering online. This not only helps support these skilled artisans, chemists, and crafters, but also reduces emissions by ensuring products ship direct.
